• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

I have a 2017 Spyder RT SE6 with 3000 miles. I bought this used with 2000 miles and it has been performing great but the motor has a constant whirly whine, not really a whistle but it is always there. It's there not moving at an idle and increases as the RPM goes up. Seem to be loader after its warmed-up. Does not sound like a whiney bearing but I am not sure. The intensity does not change when shifting from N to 1st or reverse or any other gear. I have only compared the side by side noises with a 2010 SE5 which made typical "normal" noises. Is this normal or should I be worried??

I had/have a droning sound when cruising my RTL. One day I rode it to the store without my helmet and the sound was gone. Turnes out the sound I was hearing was normal sounds resonating in my helmet.

Mine does that too. From what I can figure out in the threads, it's the fuel pump. Some folks had their pumps replaced under warranty and in some cases the noise went away. Once I get rolling, I don't notice it, as my tinnitus is the loudest thing I hear, even with ear plugs. :sour:
