• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

MotoLights pics on my Spyder

I really like those as well, but can almost guarantee the LEO's in SC would not since I already have the fog lamps. I may have to see about adding these to Love2Ride's machine, and letting her lead the way at night. ;)

PIAA lights on fender upright supports

DannyS..How did you attach the PIAA lights to your fender upright supports?? Pictures?? thank you larryd

Yep...I saw your lights in G-Burg (at Smokies bar with "no helmet guy"!) I really like them nojoke , but I need to save some money for the holidays, so I'm just going to duct tape a couple L.E.D. flashlights to my Spyder!!!!!! :roflblack: :roflblack: :roflblack:
Mike

The lights looked great Dan!!

[By the way..someguy.. I really think firefly should change his handle to "no helmet guy"]:roflblack: Unless he has a light bulb attached to his butt..:roflblack:...it would make it easier on us!!:roflblack:

Those were pretty cool on your bike--- liked how they point where you turn!

I would recommend checking state laws before installing them---- pretty sure in Michigan we can't have 6 lights forward-- seems I remember reading that somewhere--- then again I remember reading that TN was a helmet free 21+ state-----:roflblack:.

Gotta' love it...'Land of the Free" and all that. Who sits up at night deciding how many lights we can have facing forward? And how do I get that job?:dontknow:

Loved the lights though. They did come in handy for extricating Forest. Might try a set myself....Let me know how the ticket angle works out. I suppose you could get a ticket even in the daytime with them off.

For anyone that is interested I have one Motolight spyder kit left instock for $399. This includes the complete plug in play wiring harness and easy to follow instructions.

Check you state laws

I like what you've done with the lites. If they turn with the wheels that would be outragious.
One thing people might want to check before making this mod is some state only allow four lights on the front. The two on the fender are classified as running lights and don't count. But if you have your two headlights and your two Spyder driving lights you've reached your four. The two new would be illegal. Again it's a state thing. If your state allows more than four GREAT.
