There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

I'm not a fan of devices externally mounted to my helmet. I chose my Shoei helmets because they were designed and certified with my intercom devices installed within the design of the helmet and are essentially flush mounted. When I had a Arai helmet with an external comms device, my wife and I were always knocking it on things when off the bike. That's why we switched to Shoei when our helmets aged out.
If the device were to be shrunk to fit within the helmet design (like the Senna system in the Shoei lids) and omitted the rear facing camera (as I feel I would know if my passenger was not there) I might be interested. Cooperation with the helmet manufacturer to have a more specific fitment within the helmet would make me happier without having cables exit from under the helmet to go to the device.
Cooperation with the helmet manufacturer would also make me think that the device's capabilities had been tested to some level beyond just that performed by the manufacturer. I think the concept is a good one, I have no issue there, but if it were in partnership with a name brand helmet manufacturer I would be happier. This way the commercial aspects and viability of the supplier would have been considered when offering the product as an add-on to the helmet.
