• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

Morgan 3

For anyone interested: On the Science Channel Thursday night (of course check local listings!) How It's Made: Dream Cars will be featuring the Morgan 3. Think those are the neatest and coolest vehicles since sliced bread!:firstplace: Would love to test drive one but being a Big Beautiful Spyder Ryder I would never fit! :yikes: Had one show up at our Bikers for Boomers ride last year. It didn't go on the ride with us but it was fun seeing it.IMG_0030.jpg

They are neet and IF I couldn't ride a Spyder, I'd have one. I too have never driven one, but would like too. I like the combination of new technology with an old look

I actually prefer the styling of them, to the SlingShot's...

Me too. I wonder if you could buy a Slingshot and "re-body" it? Of course then you wouldn't have that neet V engine in the front  I think they are around $50,000, but heh, there aren't that many of them around.

I think that if I posted pictures of fake jugs; Lamont would smack me with...The Ban Hammer.jpg

On second thought... imagesCAUWKEM1.jpg
What did you expect??

Morgan three wheelers

The interesting thing is that it is almost a century ago that Morgan did research into the relative merits of three wheeled vehicles with two wheels at the front versus those with two wheels at the rear. They did both theoretical analyses and practical tests and the outcome of both was that the arrangement with one wheel at the front was inherently unstable in turning maneuvers, i.e. sharp turns and avoidance maneuvers. Consequently, they designed their three wheeled vehicle to have two wheels at the front. It is interesting that some of the original Morgan three wheelers are still being raced to this day. Despite it's shortcomings the Spyder is the only three wheeled motorcycle which I would consider riding.

Well you all know my thoughts on the Morgan 3 Wheeler.
They are just leg-wettingly good! You backside is three or so inches from the road surface and
you can lean out and easily touch the road (If you had a mind to!) The performance
is on a par with a Spyder and the sound is stunning.....I wish I had the £30,000!!
You could own one for a year and the depreciation would be no more than a few hundred pounds!
A nice example from the 30s 40s 50s or 60s would still cost you almost as much as a new one....
I have a main dealer 5 miles down the road from me....Brands Hatch Morgan!
I've come over all unnecessary.....:opps:

I'd love an original Morgan. Maybe someday if I sell the 67 vette I'll use the money from that to buy one. I probably can't get an original, but I might get a reproduction for the price of the vette

I drove a Mog at the Haven Hill hillclimb when I was a junior in high school. Not a timed run, just a nice putt up and down the hill. It had a JAP 1000cc liquid cooled twin and right hand drive, and I've wanted one ever since. I got close, with a 1953 roadster, in 1965, but it was a 4 wheeler.
Ace Cycle Cars builds them in Washington state, they have HD 88 inch, or the 103 inch, or an S&S X-Wedge 122 inch engine, and start around 48K. Before Morgan licensed them as builders, about 2 years ago, you could get one starting around 34K.
