• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

More questions - are factory arm rests removable?

I'm still evaluating, so I was wondering if anyone has experience with factory passenger armrests? Can't seem to find info on this. The question is are they removable? That is, if I'm not going to have a passenger that day, can I take them off without too much hassle? Also, if you do have these Can-am armrests are you happy with them? Thanks once again for the help>

My wife's bike has aftermarket arm rests and they are not readily removable BUT they're not in the way of anything so it's not an issue. Helps hold luggage and packages in place.

My 2016 came with them installed. Truthfully I hate the damn things but you have to tear the bike half apart to get them off.

Different year Spyder and F3 models have different arm rest. I have an older 2012 RTL and had after market armrest that I did not like and they could not be removed easy (you would need to use wrench to remove). I then installed the BRP arm rest and like them much better. They again can not be removed easy. Now with the newer RT 2020 and up Machines the armrest are totally different so I don't know much about them but they don't look like they can be removed easy.
