• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

thats just TOO close to a car. its close to a convertible ...

but to each their own that's the great thing about it...

Well I don't know what to call it or how to license it... but it's WAY cool! :2thumbs:

Easy, it started out as a Goldwing M/C the VIN will read M/C,You just keep
on renewing the registration, Motor Vehicle won't know you added an extra wheel. You might have trouble if you get into a serious accident.
Or a sharp eyed Cop knows the laws on 4 wheel vehicles.

:doorag:
The H/D 3 wheeler has Soul ,mostly exposed 45 degree V air cooled engine. Sit on one[engine running] before somebody puts pipes on.
Unlike the Spyder it doesn't need pipes to make the rider feel like they
have an engine under them.
So it is a motorcycle:doorag: and the Spyder is one up the evolutionary scale....

In Maine the definition of a motorcycle is a two or three wheeled vehicle. Since that unit has four wheels it would have to meet all the requirement of an automobile to be liscenced here.

How did we miss this one... one of the originals?

I just saw this today, myself. Neat stuff! Here are a couple more links to the announcement.

Looks like they are shooting for a price of £25,000 ($40,500) but the price will likely be higher after importing it into the US. Ah, the stuff dreams are made of!

I read something about this on Kneeslider a while back, Ace Cyclecars in Washington state has been accepted by Morgan to build them, if I read it right. Checked out their website, but 50K is a little rich for me.

I am going to leave what you call it to folks with mo interest than I can muster. I will simply ride it, enjoy it immensely, and generally have a good time.. People can call that whatever they want

:agree: with Doc and Barbary. I just call mine 14. She likes that!! And she sure feels like a bike to me! :D

When people ask me about my Spyder I call it my street doo. They just shake their heads and agree. Ride safe
