• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

Money Down on a RT

Ok, so untill the dealers get the RT's in their mits, we can order one with a small deposit.
(I myself would never do that without riding one) ..........

BUT............. what would it take for you to order one sight unseen without a test ride???

Here's mine........

#1. That I could order one in yellow.

#2. It came with a bigger engine, (like what's in the Goldwing).

#3. It was shaft driven.

What Say?

I never pay full price on anything. I got an barely used '08 in '08 for less than wholesale. Its all about timing and having the cash on hand.

We did not test ride the RS before we put down our deposit on a PE (it was winter in Michigan) but we did get a chance to sit on one. Never regretted it for a moment. It will be the same with the RT. No test ride necessary. I do get a bit uneasy worrying about how the seat feels, but that can be remedied with a Russell Day long later if need be. In short, the RT needs nothing more, IMO.

Bought my 08 without a test ryde. I saw it in the show room; sat on it and came home did a web seach; found spyderlovers and read everything that I could read on the :f_spider:. Got preapproved for a loan and went and made a deal. No regrets and if I didn't already have a great :f_spider: I would probably buy an RT the same way. NO REGRETS. :2thumbs:

I had been researching trikes and trike conversion kits when I came across Spyderlovers.

Spent a month or so on Spyderlovers and then purchased a used 08 Spyder from a private seller in another state.

Never laid my eyes on a Spyder in person.

Rolled the dice and won - love my Spyder Roadster Sport.:D

I bet you'll be Russell's first customer to send in an RT seat and request that it's remade to be like the original Spyder seat. :D

Can I help it if they built me backwards (inside-out?) and the stock Spyder seat is most comfortable I ever sat on? I may be the only owner on earth that actually likes it. :D
