• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

Modern Retros

Nice stuff. Honda and Kawi are doing a bit of the "retro" stuff to try to get those who owned the real McCoy, to jump in one more time.

I was a big fan of the UJM and had a few assorted during the day. My thoughts are now on the new "touring" offerings. As in the new GW and the new Yamaha Eluder.

I had a CB-750 Supersport vs my buddies dreaded Z-1

I remember that bike very well ..! I could take it up til I topped out in 3rd gear then that “kawi” would steadied walk away from me ...!!

Oh Yeah..!!

Do love all those and we had a bunch of Italian bikes not well known here that were great as well. :2thumbs: Here we have a lot of Cafe's running about ....

I had the 1973 900, wicked fast. Kick myself for getting rid of it every time I think of it. The 3 cylinder Mach 111 H1 500 was crazy fast as well.

I too bought a 1973 Z10 and rode the bjeezus out of it. The new rendition brings back great memories and does justice to the original's iconic styling.

One of my all time favorites are the Honda Magna and Nighthawk. The CB1100 is the closest they have to the Hawk, but it misses the sporty look. A new Magna would be at the top of my list.

i owned a 1984 V-65 Magna and it was a great bike ..! I have a buddy that owned (and still rides) a 1983 V-65 and has well over 200K miles on it ..!! Has to get parts on eBay thes Days. Great bike ..!

Everything old is new again. For a while, Ducati and triumph were ruling the roost with their 60's inspired cafe bikes, now they have moved on to the 70's UJM styling.
