• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

Hi all , just got my 2009 Roadster SE5 a few weeks ago. Had it out for two ten minute runs before i bought . I see it has a mode "M" button on the dash and a mode button on the left hand side of the handlebars , just above the down shift selector . Does this one let you scroll thought functions as you are driving ? Sorry for the rookie questions . It's going to be a long winter here in southern New Brunswick , CANADA . Thanks !!!

I looked at the operators manual (available on the BRP web page) for your model and year and found that the Mode button on the dash allows you to scroll through the functions. It may not be active while you are moving. The Mode button on the handlebar allows you to engage the starter to start the bike.

One function of the mode button is to acknowledge the command to read the safety card before starting. You do that, don't you???? :roflblack:

Thanks guys , that's what I was thinking that maybe it was a mode button you used when you were on the move . A safety thing . I only have 20 min's on the bike , so i have lots to learn .And thanks John , i'm in Musquash , just outside of Saint John.
