MO Spyderlovers, & KS & AR Too!

Well here goes something or nothing. Calling for an official roster or list of Spyder owners in Missouri and Kansas and Arkansas. A census if you will.

(MODOT wants to know where to send the new "Special Road and Hwy Nusiance Tax" bill to us. Seems that the owners of Can-Am Spyders are slowing down traffic and creating hazardous driving conditions as people gawk and take their eyes off the road.)

Seriously, I think our numbers are suficient now to create a big enough gathering to create a scene as we "rally" somewhere this summer. So first thing... let's get official count, locations, and then hoepfully someone will set a date and rally!

SSG Bean came down to meet my wife and I last Saturday and we chatted then rode to Watkins Mill State Park north of Liberty, MO before saying goodbye at a RED ROBIN restaurant later that afternoon. SSG Bean's bike is awesome! His new paint job (see his albums) doesn't really show the gloss black that has silver micro flecks in the paint that creates a beautiful shimmer in sunlight! And the pin stripping between the blue and black is a show stopper! My wife and I really enjoyed the meeting and ride. And since this was my first time riding with another Spyder, the ride was more exciting.

So MO- KS - AR Spyders, lets consider something.

Hi -

We live in Arnold, Missouri, about 25 miles south of St. Louis. There's another Spyder Ryder (Gene) in High Ridge, MO, which is a bit further out. We've ridden with him a couple of times -- lots of fun. I've seen on BRP's website that there's another Spyder Ryder in Fenton, MO, which is west of us.

Not too many in this area -- YET!!!

I would be happy to host a gathering in Sprng Hill of all of the local :spyder: Riders.

I have two things to say, 1st Omaha Ne is real close to Mo and Ks. How about this for a good trip. come up to Omaha in June :chat:and attend a couple of COLLEGE WORLD SERIES GAMES, we have a great dealer. Leisue Life Sports. and we have a growing # of:spyder: up hear. I heard close to 20 now. plenty of rooms and I bet a whole bunch of:spyder:s would make some kind of news, ESPN, maybe more. :2thumbs:

Looks like this bubble is growing. Let's not let it burst. Does someone want to take a lead in this. There's already two offers for support in planning, and I'm sure myself and others are ready and willing gophers.

Someone take the lead and I for one will follow. First: When, Second: Where, and then we can nail down the " What to Do" ( besides rally and ride!)

First:
We need a good list of locations of all our Spyder Owners. How do we do this. Someone says that this website might be able to get us a list? How about that Lamonster?

And speaking of Lamonster, if we plan this thing early enough, say June, maybe when Lamonster goes a riding to L.A. we can have him stop by or join our rally for an hour or two....just kidding.... the whole damn day! (Everybody be sure to have something wrong with your :f_spider: or a mod you want to add... Lamonster probably can fix or adjust it for us!!)

Second:
We need to get some choices for rally date and meet. But that's another story!

I am willing to take a portion of the lead on this one:: Lets try to get a couple of questions answered first:: As for a Date, this will probably the most difficult task at hand, I am free most all week-ends and basically have no problem taking off on a Monday or Friday----- For me only the week-ends in April are all ready booked for me with activities.. The month of May works out good for me, infact lets try to pin point a date right now, how about the week-end of May 9-11? Keep in mind that Mothers Day falls on this week-end the 10th!!! This would be a Satuday, Sunday and followed by a Monday..... As for a Central Location to meet and activities, routes, attractions, overnight stays we can discuss this once we have a concrete date established.. Hows does this fit everyones schedule?

I'm living in Platte City, MO, (north of Kansas City) and would love to get together for a ryde this spring or summer. I also live in Lincoln, Nebraska, and usually travel home for the weekends depending on my wife's schedule. I met SSG Bean the other day and he does have a sweet looking Spyder. I would love to go for a group ryde depending on the date.
