• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

If you aren't immediately blown away by it, at least give yourself a little "cooling down" period before you take your deposit back. Maybe ask a few more questions of the dealer or people on the forum to see if there are others who had the same complaints or reservations that you may have and see what they decided and how their opinion may have changed after more time with the Spyder. Maybe you could then schedule a second test ride to see if you still feel that the Spyder is not for you. I know there have been all types of reactions to the Spyder.

Some people fell in love at first sight and never looked back. ;D :spyder: :hot:
Some people grew to love the Spyder. :spyder: ;D
Some people are tolerating it. ::)
Some people disliked it enough to get rid of it. >:(

I thought it looked really hot when I first saw one at a boat show. Liked it enough to start looking for it
on the internet. Went the very next weekend to another boat show to see it again and sit on it and tried
to get a feel for what it might be like to ride. Then I found the SpyderRyder website. Found a tour ride
about an hour away. Took a couple friends with me and went on about a five mile ride through the town
of Lodi and out around some vineyards. I hadn't ridden any type of motorcycle since high school. (there
have been a couple reunions since I was in high school) Went home, talked to my wife and we decided
we needed a Spyder, really bad! Two weeks later we put down the deposit. I am so antsy to ride again
I am about to sign up for a couple more rides at my dealership this summer. You are gonna love the ride. I can almost guarantee that!

okay so I just got back & the spyder
blows u away in person!!!

When I got ready to ride it .. I popped the
clutch quick!! Went heavy on the throttle
I gotta admit.. The brakes SUCK!!!

Guess I'll sleep on the spydr :dontknow:

:spyder:YOU AND YOUR SPYDER WILL BECOME 1 :spyder: I ALMOST BACKED OUT SINCE MY DELVERY WAS A FEW DAYS LATE.HAVING BIG PROBLEMS GETTING OFF OF MY LEAF BURNER KNOW.AFTER 20 MILES OR SO YOU WILL BE VERY HAPPY. :spyder:

I rode today in a BRP demo (NJ). Second ride but first was parking lot. Much better experience. Went out for 15 mins and after the first 5, starting getting comfortable in the turns and kicking it up when the rode opened. I wasn't toally sold after the first ride, but I'm convinced now. Find out the next demo time in your area and ride it some more, it grows on you.

?????

+1
My brakes work great, almost too good sometimes. :yikes: When I took my demo ride, the demo units were ragged on pretty good and the brakes were a little worn but my Spyder has no braking issues.
