• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

We are getting ready to go to our little Indiana meet. Sounds like you guys are having a great time. Maybe next year we can move ours over to yours.
See a lot of you in Chicago and/or Gatlinburg. :2thumbs::2thumbs::2thumbs:

OH HUM-------cheap shot ----wanted poster.
Pay back time is sooner than you think.
You will never miss another gathering.

Good to see Spyders last night at the CC

It was fun seeing all the Spyders drive up to the Country Club last night. I hope you all felt welcome. I know you added a lot to the evening.

Hope you all have a blast today and tonight. See you later at Cowtown.

All I can say is T.H.A.N.K Y.O.U!!!!! You Spyderlovers are amazing from the bottom of my heart I was both humbeled and shocked, aswell as bless to get to be part of this with you all, everyone was so great to be around and help us so much putting this entire event on, Gene your awesome and! This was my first experince with Lamonster, and all I can say is not only is he a man's man, but a true gentalmen and very genuinen, the kinda guy that mekes you want to step your game up! So thank you Lamont for all your help and all you did to help us! Molee, Joe, G-man, The Queen, Gene, Virginia, Lisa, and the whole midamerica spyder gang, you have stood behind us, ran before us, backed us, supported us, guided us, helped us,but most of all, befriended us. So to all again THANKYOU! from the bottom of my heart!!!! You all made this thing so great and so much fun!

Len and Venessa (And actually the whole crew from CowTown)--- Folks you did an OUTSTANDING job from start to finish.. I heard nothing but good comment about the whole event, and Lisa and I thank you from the bottom of our heart.

Gene, what can I say, you and Virginia--(I'm actually at a loss for word) You my friend also did a GREAT job in getting this event kicked off and running and along with Len's support, I vote you in as the CHAIRMAN for the following years, Motion on the floor can I get a second?????????????????? Thank you to both Virginia and Gene....

Lets just hope that ALL that attended make it home safely, so lets all post something letting everyone know that you made it home... RIDE SAFE and see ya all next year...

Joe
PS: Len and Venessa you are TRUE "ROCK STARS" FOR SURE!!!

Made it home safe and sound. Wanted to thank everyone - Len, Vanessa and the rest of your Cowtown family. You all are truly special people. You made the whole event so much fun and it all ran so smoothly that you made it seem easy, but I can't imagine how much work went into that. Thank you so much for hosting us all.
Gene and Virginia and everyone else involved with getting this whole event going and working - thanks so very much. I'm not even about to try to mention all the people I enjoyed meeting and visiting with because I don't want to leave anyone out but thanks to every one for making this FIRST ANNUAL MIDAMERICA SPYDERFEST such a huge success.
I'm ready to pack my bags in preparation for next year! I'm sure my husband is going to quickly tire of hearing me go on and on about what great people and great times were shared, but it certainly was a great time.
Hope everyone who has yet to travel more miles makes it home safe and has a good ryde.

(P.S. Thanks, Brian, for the pink ear plugs. Gene found me and gave them to me and I appreciated them - and your thoughtfulness.)

-Jane

Geez...ya miss one damn event and the world turns against you! :roflblack::roflblack::roflblack:

The pics are GREAT!! This is the BEST group of people around...I know of no other "club" whose members enjoy each other so much. We should become a formal Motorcycle Club...maybe Spyder Ryders of America...complete with colors. Could have individual State/Regional Chapters. Thoughts?

Agreed Lee, theres more to follow Irish,, There was MANY great conversations about you brother and we did all miss you not being there, (although Gene will never in a million years admit that it's true,) deep down he missed ya like all other members did,,,Like MoLee said, "stand by for more to come"!!!

Absolutely the Greatest

:congrats:This first SpyderFest was absolutly great. Len, Venessa and all the people at Cow Town are the best. Met some great people, had great rides, great food. Can't wait until next year. And just think.... SpyderFest started with somewhere in the area of 80 bikes. Sturgis's first only had 7 or 8..... Soon we will be bigger and better than Little Sturgis, Sturgis..... We will put Cuba MO on the MAP of places to be, go, ride,..... you name it. Love you all, a great bunch of people. I second, third or whatever number is needed to make Gene the honorary chairperson... SpyderLady (Purple of course!!)

Great time and great trip home. Good weather (though it started out a bit chilly). Law enforcement was very think in some places. I hope everyone gets back safe and ticket free.

Thanks to everyone for just a super event. One of the best I've ever been apart of.

Um--- that was 'performance testing'... and it's just a time-saver to 'test' two bikes at a time--- side by side....:D.

Next time Deb.... next time.....

(You really rode home with that open pipe?) :yikes:
