• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

This is great, this thing started out regional became statewide then nationwide and now international. I think Gene and The Pitbull Buggy deserve a big round of applause:clap::clap::clap::clap::clap::clap::clap::clap::clap::clap::clap::clap:
MoLee you guys are to much, were just happy to be part of the whole deal! Really all you guys are the ones making this thing happen. Spyder riders have come out of every where for this its crazy! So were just trying to keep stepping our game up to keep up with you guys :yikes:. And with this kind of numbers you guys have set the bar pretty high now, going to have to have Gene give me a boost up to reach it now :joke:

We had our meeting last night!! WOW!! Two new Spyder owners were there and we filled the room with attendees!! Lots of spyder ryders interested in Cuba!! Four more confirmed to go!! WOW!

Yazz! What an awesome write up and trip in TX.!! We took a 2 week trip last year from St. Louis down to Galveston and up to Hill Country. The scenery was great. We'll have to get to Big Bend sometime that just looks breath taking. Thanks for sharing your trip! Can't wait to meet up with you in Cuba!

Len's wife here-Vanessa-Cuba is all a buzz (couldn't think of a more Spyder appropriate word) and looking forward to being your host city. I'll post some more information on the town in coming days. Where else can you go, that within a 10 mile radius you'll be able to ride Historic Route 66, see the World's Largest Rocking Chair, visit a War Memorial, stay in the Official Route 66 Mural City, and meet some of best folks (Spyder Rider's of course) around!

This is becoming The Event! Glad more can enjoy it with us.:2thumbs:

The Hill Country is beautiful and a fun ryde. If you can get to Big Bend, even if you trailer the sypder, it is well worth the effort. Looking forward to meeting you for a great time.

Vanessa,
Hope some of the above are going to be on our ryde? This keeps getting better all the time.:2thumbs:::clap::yes::2excited:
Love the Mrs. Pitbull Buggy!

I have reservations at the Holiday Inn Express beginning on Thursday April 15th.

I am looking forward to a great Spyder event.

Is there going to be group rates at the Holiday Inn?
Is there other hotels or other accomodations Cuba or very close?

My rate at the Holiday Inn Express is $81.99 plus tax (seniors). That's less than I usually have to pay for similar lodging. Prices are lower in "Cuba".

welcome Be seeing you soon :2thumbs:

Mrs. Pittbull Buggy - Your suggestions of local sites of interest are great! If we're blessed with good weather, I think I'll plan on spending part of Sunday visiting some of those places since they are all rather close. I'm only about four hours or so from home so I can spend part of Sunday being a tourist before heading back and still get home before dark. Maybe some of the others will want to do that, too, after our group breakfast.
If you can, please order great weather for us! Look forward to meeting you.

(P.S. to others - Per SpyderGene's suggestion, I specifically mentioned that I was going to be part of the Spyder group when I made reservations and they gave me a $76.99 rate for a king bed non-smoking room. I had checked to see if rates using AARP or AAA were less and none were. Holiday Inn has specfically committed (at first through Harley Davidson affiliations) to being bike friendly and offering reduced rates to bikers, so be sure to mention the connection!)

Yes this is the correct rate that they agreed to give us on the group rate. Cuba is really excited to have all of you as well as us we know alot of people are driving long distances and that means alot.....aka mean we have to keep stepping up our game here. I talked to frisco's this evening, and I think they are planning on closing to the public and opening only for you guys or i guess I should say us! and lots of other stuff going on, I spoke to fox 2 news today and they are considering covering the event now:yikes:!

I'll be there for sure! Looking forward to meeting you all. Don't worry we'll make sure you feel the Cuba love :doorag:.

(Oh and the avatar pic is Pitbull Buggy Jr.)
