• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

One more for the list!

Add me to the list. I'll leave from down Carbondale way Sat. morning and get in a little after lunch. Are they doing a lunch meal or do I need to catch a bite before checking in? I want to be sure to get there in time to go for the afternoon ride but mapquest is showing that riding time is 3 1/2 hours not counting stopping to stretch legs and gas up at least once.

I've been anxious to get an outing planned but since my husband is still having issues from his last back surgery, he's not able to do any trips with me. This will be great - not far from home, only an over-nighter but a chance to get out on roads a little further from home than my normal 100 mile radius when I just go out for a day ride.

I'll get me a room booked at the Holiday Inn and start counting the days!

Alright keep'em coming.. You should be fine for lunch with us,, according to Gene registration is going to be shut down at 2:00 he would like to start the ride around 2:15, So therefore be sure to gas up prior to pulling into the dealership... I am sure Gene will post more details on the location of the dealership a little bit closer to the event date... K there ya have it, ride safe and see ya there..

SURF AND TURF.....AND DIRT!

Hey Gene, I think we need to cahange the name of this ride to surf and turf......and dirt! Where else can you pound the pavment, ride the waves, and get to play in the dirt and the mud. GAME ON!

We avoid I-57, when we travel to TN!
Take I-55 instead, total of 640 miles (just 3 miles difference) :2thumbs:

Does that mean you're coming? :2thumbs::ohyea::yes:
That looks like a better way to go, thanks. :doorag:
I'm going to plan on it. Maybe I can get a few folks from here to go. :chat::ohyea:

Gene you have a very nice gang their. Although you probably don't need it cause you and pit bull seem to all it all together, good luck in your extravaganza. Wish I could be there.

BajaRon said he'll go but you never can tell till after the first gas stop if he's really going or not. :D

Okay, this thing is getting so big, Brian and I are trying to figure out how we can make it from MI to our friends in Missouri. Brian wants to know if this is spyders only or can a friend of his on two wheels come along. I would have to switch weekends at work and I'll have to see if my coworker could or would do this with me. A lot of variables, but it is worth a try. I know from years of experience and hauling a horse trailer to Tulsa we could make it in 12 hours or less. We used to stay at the Blue Moon resort as we could put the horses up there for the night. That town has some great memories for me of some great times with my daughter. I sure hope we can pull this off.
