• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

Missing Thread

Earlier today there was a thread started by a Spyder Owner who has had a lot of problems with his :ani29:, has a BRP case number, a Rep to talk to, etc. There were several responses to this thread, some of which were negative in relation to BRP, one of which was mine. I supplied the OP with the name of a BRP rep that I have dealt with in the past. That thread is now gone; too bad, because I was interested in the outcome of the OP's dealings with the BRP rep. Any guesses as to why this thread disappeared? Could it have been negative comments towards BRP that made it disappear? Will we even know?

It appears that when the "boss" gets involved in a thread that gets out of line, the thread is locked, and not deleted. Non-authorized ads seem to get deleted.

The OP can delete the thread just by deleting the original post. This sometimes happens also.

Not sure what happened here. :dontknow:

May be..!!

your referring to the fact it is no longer on the leader board..:roflblack: When visits slow or stop and posting to the thread stops it moves down the line. Page one to page two the to the general discussion forum then to it's place on the forum pages. Right now it is in the general discussion forum...

For the future to solve your problem:

If you responded to the thread, then you can always click on your forum name (top of page to the right) and then click on posts you made (upper left side of your profile page). That will list all your posts.

If you still see your post to a thread, then the thread is still there.
