• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

Missing something?

Just a heads-up for those of you who need something to obsess about today.

I was cleaning my F3 yesterday and while wiping down the inside of a front wheel, the hubcap popped off. I put it back on, but it came off with just the slightest nudge. Checked the other one and just the slightest nudge popped it off, too. I can't believe that they have stayed on for over 3K miles and some of the rough roads that I have been on.

So, I have them off until I fix them to snap on better.

Anyone lost theirs?

Pics later if anyone asks, gotta go now - a 250 mile day.

Are the prongs broken off? I believe there should be 4 on each cap. You have to be careful taking them off or those prongs break off.

Another thread

Hi Tom,
There is another thread on here about the inner caps! Many have looked after the thread started myself included and found they were missing. Lamont is selling nice billet aluminum ones to replace the cheap plastic ones on his website. I just ordered a set last night. They are a permanent fix hopefully. Hope you have a great ride today!

Gene, we have run across a number that were already broken when we took them off. The easiest way to get them off is to take the wheel off and punch them out from behind, but who has time to do that?

thanks for posting this. Mine are still on (I didn't pop them off in case I broke a prong), but now I'll keep an eye on them and if (when?) I lose one, I'll replace with Lamont's billet caps.
