• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

Missing OEM Backrest Install Instruction

Dealer installed backrest on F3, but didn't install anti-theft bolt. Trying to find installation instructions to show how to install bolt. Anyone? Thanks in advance!

If you're talking about the pillion backrest, I did the install myself and didn't see anything about a bolt. All it had were fabric loops on either side which went over plastic tabs under the back seat.

BOLT

mine has the 'bolt'....
it's an 1/8" X maybe 2" long, it passes tru the metal post of the rest and it strikes the underside of the seat if you try to pull the backrest up...
as for 'straps'.... i have no idea about those... mind doesn't have any...

I guess they made two versions of the Pass backrest. On mine, you have to remove the seat to take it off.
