• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

Anyone else have a problem with the right and left side tupperware on the RT where the Can AM chrome logo is? I have both of those pieces that have 3 points of attachment and both are missing the female part that is right behind the chrome name plate there is a hole but nothing secures the male end in that hole so it just wiggles loose as I ride. After riding they are still held on by the two towards the front but nothing holds them by your feet. What goes in the hole that the "peg" should attach into. It was like that when I got it home after taking delivery and I finally called the dealer sales rep but he was busy selling another RT and promised to call me back. In the meantime I thought I'd ask you guys and gals.

Can Am has updated the grommets that should be there. There is suppose to be a grommet there where the male part goes into.

There should be rubber grommets in those holes which the panel snaps into. You might want to contact the service department and see if they have them and just forgot to put them on.

Get your dealer to fix it soon, If you keep on riding there liable to blow off,
It has happen to a few people.

Okey dokey.

I just talked to the parts manager and he will order or possibly take off the grommets from an in stock unit and mail them to me since I am 114 miles from the selling dealer. He was really nice even said if he thinks a grommet from a Honda Gold Wing would work better he will check it out and send them. He said give him 5-7 working days.

I will let you know how it comes out.

Don't ride with the covers on, in the meantime. They come off to easily, and are expensive to replace if they get road rash.
