• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

Missing any needed/wanted accessories on 2011 Limited

My buddy put a deposit on a 2011 RT Limited and will be tied up for over a week on business and told me to add what I think he needs/wants for the bike prior to delivery. Kinda like a kid at Christmas, spending someone else's money.

My list

CB and Com System
Entertainment Harness
Chrome passenger floorboards
Chrome driver foot pegs
Chrome windshield support
Kuryakyn iso-wing min boards
Utopia backrest
Handlebar risers

Am I missing anything that he really should have??

BRP Helmets to work with cb

3rd rake light from magic man

Bright sides frt & rear

Front mud flaps as turn indicators with fender tips

Back rest

IPS key/ with spider ensignia

Have him go to an event where he can sit on different foot rest set ups and see which one he prefers.

RT 622 trailer all decked out

Reds gas cans

All of BRP's gloves they make are the best

BRP leather and summer mesh jackets

Elka shocks. (I know the 2011 are better than the 2010, but still would add). Corbin seat AND armrests for passenger. Foot pegs like Lamont has and an "Uuuugah horn" like Rudy has.

If he likes all the chrome why not add the chrome handle bar and end caps for the grips:dontknow:............they look really nice on mine:2thumbs: .

Does the chrome handle bar make a big difference?? Haven't seen one to know.
Hard to tell from the pics but they look great. Make sure you get the brake pedal and shifter if it's a SM to go with your foot peg brackets.

Lamonster,

Thanks for the pick. Man - $300 for the handle bar chrome???? I know it's not my money but jeeeez!

Teddy picked mine up at BassPro shops

Picked up the ram mount there & also a marine style cup-holder that fits well with the ram mount & attached it to where the analogue gauge was on the left. Might not work for your application unless you were to unhook the gauge. If you do, they show up on the LCD screen & their more accurate, IMHO.

Another forum member saw our set-up while on a group ryde today, liked it, & stopped on his way home at Basspro, got the set-up & just posted he already had it installed the same night. Works well for me.

Don't forget the Raditor Block and Cat Sheild from Spyderpops.com. Foot pegs are no good if you can't keep your foot on them.

things to get

go bluetooth for your comm and radio. There are some good systems out there. I have a sena and really like it.
