• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

Mirrors

I love the location of the mirrors but my right one will not go down low enough for me to see out of it well. Does anyone else have this problem?

My arms are parallel to the ground so I have full view of both mirrors. They are not even close to being adjusted too low. I see my elbows in the top 10% of each mirror. They are the best mirrors I have ever had on a bike, by far.

Hard to say..!!

not knowing which mirrors we are talking about dosen't help. On the GS/RSS/RS they make an extension up and out that fixes their problem but thats the only one I know of...

Sorry since I posted in the F3 section I didn't think to specify. It is an F3-S. The left mirror is perfect but the right will not tilt low enough for me to get a good view of what is behind me.

You shouldn't NEED to specify... Your post was where it's supposed to be😎

Here's the thing..!!

Anything you post come to the general forum as well as the forum you posted in. Those going to your forum have no problem if we see it in the general forum (here) we don't know. Many add their model and year to their signature or avatar...

My wife has the same issue but on the left mirror the right one is fine. She is 5'2" maybe that has something to do with it being as you sit down in the bike as opposed to sitting on the bike.

Well then it should be ON the guy replying to the post to figure out what he's commenting on before he comments.. Toooooo many guys comment over n over on things they know little about.. It's really taking on a life of its own..

I'm 6'1" and shrinking so it appears to run the gamut.

remember you can also move the mirrors towards you and away from you. This my help with getting the right adjustment.

break-away mirror mounts

They do move forward and back, but, are only locked in the center position. They do have a rather small adjustment range (mirror adjustment).

Has anyone solved this?

I have the same issue on f3s - left hand mirror gives a great view of the sky.

Has anyone solved this? Clues?

Thanks all!

Remember, the F3 Limited's have different mirrors than the F3S. His question made complete sense.

Ok guys am I missing something here? You keep saying orig post made sense - no argument here! That's not what I care about. :banghead:

I just want want to know how the mirror on the f3s (yes different on limited!) can be angled down so I don't just see the sky... One is ok, one is not. One just won't angle down any further.

Next step is to pull the mirror apart, but just hoped that someone may have another solution.
