• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

Millenium Yellow

I'm a bit stumped...I happened to poke around in my dealer's website, and now have my headscratching in full movement.

I purchased my '09 Millenium Yellow SE5 in August. The website stated that Millenium Yellow was an optional color, for $400. Yet, I checked my dealer invoice, and no mention was made of it.

Some dealers have waived it. Mine did.

I think they made me pay extra for my roadster red one.
Red had just come out and I had a 6 month wait just to get it.
The purchesin climate is a little more favorable for the buyer now.

MSRP added $400 for colors other than Silver. I liked the silver better so it was a good thing for me.

I think a lot of the early Spyders sold for the additional $400. After that it was probably hit and miss depending on the dealer.

Looks like several here got out from under the additional cost.

Thanks, everyone. I appreciated all of the input.

I didn't mention the other odd (to me) incident. I wanted a yellow SE5, which my dealer didn't carry in stock. They went looking...this past August. To their amazement (and mine!), there were only THREE yellow SE5s in dealer stock, across the entire US. Go figure...:dontknow::f_spider:
