• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

Military Folks

Army girl,
Just wanted to say I love your pic and can tell you are doing what you believe in helping those children around you. Although I am not from the USofA, if the world all thought the way you do, it would be a better place for everyone.

Let's hope that we can spin a web (from our Spyders) that can cover and unite the whole world.

I have heard from Army, Air Force, Navy & ? where is the Marines?
Bandanas are on your way..........send me PM with name & address till I run out ! Thanks for all your service to us !

The Marines are busy doing the dirty, ugly, nasty things that we really don't want to talk about and there's no computers in the area.
Keep up the good work. OOO-RAH:thumbup:

Marines are actually just a department of the Navy so your covered RocketLady. Had to put that in 2+1 develdog…btw have the ut most respect for Marines….:2thumbs: from a Navy Corpsman..Over and out!

I hear there are many "military folks" dreaming of a Spyder. I will be pleased to send a new Spyder poster and Spyder bandana to the first request I receive. Maybe others on the forum can do the same ! We appreciate your service and pray for your safe return home!
If you have any more, my shy retired Air Force wife would love one - Thanks inadvance. will pm address.

Yep, those children, (if you havent guessed already) are my three girls ages 10, 5, and 9 months at the time. That was the day we deployed (moving truck in the back was for our gear) and I love that picture because it was the last time I was with them. Everything that I do is for them.

Back to the purple color, I actually wasnt joking, purple IS my favorite color. But Im thinking of a darker purple color, because even a light purple is too girly for me. That would be worse than pink.:yikes: Im hoping I wont get too much flack since I do own an M16:b2b:roflmao

I sent lots of mail out today ! Even the postmaster loved my:spyder: !
I am so glad I can share with you. Now, if any "military folks" or wives, kids, etc. still want a SPYDER bandana, let me know soon. Watch your mailbox........(send PM with name & address)
Those of you that are WAITING for your Spyder- it is worth it ! I even rode mine to vote last Tuesday for our local elections. The waving candidates gave me a  as I roared by...............

Im sending you a special "thank you gift" from overseas. Im hoping your return address in on the package or you can send your address in a pm. Thanks so much!!

Just stopping in to say "Thank You" to all our military people on here and all over the place. :2thumbs::firstplace:

Hey ArmyGurl

Yup - this forum is :doorag:.

I've heard good things about the SE5. I have the yellow SM5 and the clutch is really no problem! Very smooth - I have had other bikes before and this shifts the smoothest.

I'm only 5 feet tall and added the 1 inch riser - and I came off 2 wheels w/ neck problems. I was sitting upright, feet on floorboards w/ higher bars and going from that position to the position on the :spyder:took the neck problems away.

No major problems w/ the bike but my parking break sticks so we'll get that fixed. Only thing I've found is the seat hurts after a while so I use an airhawk.

Thing I like about the Spyder is it goes fast as any other bike out there but it's a SMOOTH ride - very smooth - no vibrations, you can fly on the thing and not realize how fast you are actually going. 90 in a straightaway on the highway is nothing - you don't realize you're doing it. Now I haven't gotten it up past the 90's but many others on this forum can vouch for the speed factor. Also this thing has pickup - you can get it up to a nice speed very quickly.

Well enjoy this forum - it will keep you busy until you come home! You'll have your :spyder:in no time.

Thank you for your service………(drifter ret Nav)

Thanks to you too! So am I the only one deployed right now? Hey military folks where are you? I know most of Ft Stewart's brigades have returned home by now. But where are the rest of you? I had quite a few friends in Afghanistan (which is getting kind of hectic right now). :( Stay safe my brothers and sisters in arms!:2thumbs::firstplace:

ArmyGurl;

As a long time Auburn fan I would have figured your favorite colors would be Blue and Orange. LOL. Keeping you in my prayers for a safe return. If you get to Pensacola, Fl look me up at the VA clinic and we can ryde. :2thumbs:

War Eagle!!

You bet!:2thumbs: I figured if i get too much flack about the purple I would make my :spyder: the Tiger-mobile. Tiger eyes on the sides and all. So don't count the blue and orange out yet! Looks like I'll be making a long road trip through FL when I get my spYder as well. (I'll probably end up buying it in FL as well)

War Eagle!!! Can you say NCAA football starts today?

I agree! Thanks!!

I worked on Titan II ICBM Missiles in Tucson, AZ for 7 years (1973-1980 - U.S. Air Force).

RocketLady, just received your bandana and was quite surprised by the good quality of the material, expected tie-die or something….lol. This is the very first piece of riding gear I have received, I have over $1800 on order at this time but this gift came with some special instructions that I can appreciate.:2thumbs:

Keeping the faith
Thanks!
