• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

Midwest Manuals CD for Spyder

Hey peeps,
I nabbed a copy of the Midwest Spyder maintenance manuals on CD from EBAY. The first copy I had with the first Spyder worked fine, but I sold it off when I lemoned the '08. So this is a different copy of CD and a different laptop. It doesn't want to run the CD, it gives the option window of Open, Save and Cancel over and over again. I tried the Adobe X thats loaded on the CD, too. I get a 1327 Error invalid Drive E message and that it was not successful loading. I went through the "Shelf" settings for any incorrect registries to cure this problem and rebooted, still no success. Any hints on this matter?

Thanx Scotty, but I did try that already. And just tried again. At the end of the download, I get a window with "1327 Error Invalid Drive E". Googled that and went through a repair that begins with the START tab and ends at correcting SHELL, USER SHELL and IMAGE SHELL if there are any non C:\ data links. I'm still getting the 1327 error. I'll google that more and see if there is any other possibility.

It's not the CD, KJ @ Midwest just sent me a link to download the manual and it still fails, he's also sending me a new copy, but it looks like this puter has the problem somewhere.

DOH!...figured it out. The puter has the SD card on my mini-cam registered as drive E. With it disconnected drive C doesn't know who it is. All good worky worky now.

Will that manual show you how to put the frunk on and put the panels on right ??? :joke: You have one of the most unique Spyders thats for sure.

Didn't you know? The rear fender and center tail is a fly screen from Aprilia? Unbelieveable how much attention this machine gets, I absolutely love it. Almost time to start adding some additional sportbike cadaver, gotta get the holiday season taken care of first.
