• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

I have a 2012 LTD with the factory Garmin 660. I was unable to download a route I created in Streets & Trips 2010 to the unit. I got bounced to a website everytime I tried. Must the Garmin be configured? Do I need a later version? Thanks.

are you sure the garmin supports the M$ software, and other way around?

Here is a video on how to do it via map source (Garmin PC software) you can also do it vi google earth.

I some times take google maps into google earth then export out to garmin

You can also copy the exported "gpx" file from S & T on your computer directly to the gpx folder on your 660 (connected via usb cable in mass storage device mode) via Windows Explorer. Then disconnect usb & restart the 660 in normal mode and it should ask you to import user data. If not go to tools, my data, routes and select the route to import. To load the route hit Where To? On the main screen and scroll down to Custom Routes and find and hit your route.
