• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

Micron Pipe

The gasket must be all the way inside the 90 degree pipe to the ends of those relief cuts.

To ensure this during installation, the gasket goes in the end of the 90 degree pipe before slipping it over the Spyder's exhaust header. That way, when pushing the 90 degree pipe onto the exhaust header you will force the gasket all the way inside the pipe to the ends of the relief cuts. If you put the gasket on the exhaust header first (the easiest way to install it), the 90 degree pipe will force it all the way onto the header instead of inside the 90 degree pipe.

Is this right? I have the gasket on the header not all the way down the 90. Thanks?

Call me I'm at the shop looking into this I think I found your problem.

Sir sorry about the phone line. Some reason been getting bad connections out here. It has to be the relief cuts becuase I can not get the 90 to clamp at all. Sliding the gasket to the bottom of the 90 leaves mw with tons of room. It really does seem that the pipe is just abit to big..

So my understanding is correct after getting the new 90, with the proper relief cuts, i position the gasket at the bottom of the 90 and then slide it on to the header. The gasket will be behind the relief cuts and I just tighten metal to metal.......

Again the 90 seems too big and being in a chair I really need "plug and play". Getting out of my chair onto the floor and back, numerous times, really is a pain.

Already missed the mail today and will be gone next week....I may just send it all back to you and eat the 20% restocking fee. If this is the beginning of my spyder experience WOW fun here i come.

I would like to tell you our workers are 100% dead on all the time, but that would be a lie as they are human just the same as you and me.

After your call I am sure you have a pipe that has the cuts too short. I went throught all our stock today and found another short one too.

If it moved in the jig then when the uit was getting the relief cuts made then their did not get cut deep enough and I'm sure that is what is giving you such fits.

You can send it back if you'd like no problem.

However, we have many, many of these already out there and when the it is as it is suposed to be, they work very well indeed. This is not a new product, we have made this part for almost a year now.

We're sorry you had to get the one the QC did not catch, but we'll try our best to get you all set witha new unit ASAP. You can send me a PM with your address and have our shipping dept send your pipe out overnight first thing on Monday, and you should see it on Tuesday.

Again we're sorry for the inconvenience, I know how much it sucks when you want to install a new item and things like this happen.
