• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

Micron and the stock gasket

Now for my problem. When I took off my stock muffler to install the Micron, the gasket came off with it! It was glued inside the stock pipe and unless I scrape it out, there is NO way it will come out in one piece. What can I do? I went to a muffler shop and they were not able to offer any help. The gasket normally will stay on the collector pipe. I guess I have all the luck!

So I take it that a Micron pipe and 90 setup requires the gasket? When we changed over to Hindles, one Spyder had the gasket come off with the stock muffler and the other Spyder had the gasket stay on the manifold pipe. Hindles don't use the gasket so I had to work it off of the manifold pipe on the one Spyder. With the other gasket, I was able to work it out of the muffler pipe with my fingers and screwdriver without causing too much damage.

Welllllll........ Being that I read somewhere that you should replace the gasket if you put the stock pipe back on, I think I threw them out. :dontknow: I'll take a look and see if I have one or both of them and, if so, you can have one. Maybe just throw me $4 or $5 to cover shipping. I'll let you know tonight or tomorrow after I get a chance to look for them.
