• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. Zombo, I have a Lowell address but I like to say I live in North Alto as I'm south of I-96. Haven't seen you on the road, or any other Spyder for that matter. Shoot me a PM sometime and we can link up for a ride.

Give a shout when you are in the area and free. We'll ride over from Battle Creek and meet up somewhere.

How about the one weekday evening the 1st week of August? Sherman's Ice Cream or Joe's Bar & Grill in South Haven would be good meeting locations.

Sounds good to me. We're always up for ice cream. :D Our schedules are pretty loose during the week, so just let us know what works for you. PM and we can work out the details.

Does that include CDNS? i am on holidays that week and i am thinking about checking out HELL [michigan]
Just don't blink when you pass through. Not much there but the Dam Site Inn (good food) an ice cream store and a general store, but fun in its own strange way. I hope to join the group down in Cement City and enjoy the ride to Hell.

I hope to do the Cement City thing, but it would make for a long day. An hour and a half to Cement City, another hour to Hell, then an hour and a half back home. Quite a ride for lunch or ice cream. We may elect just to meet up at one place or another, like BJT. Depends on the day, too. The 14th and 21st are both booked solid. We already have several events to have to choose from.

On August 28th I'll plan on meeting whoever can make it for lunch at the Wells. For some it will be a plenty long ride just getting there. It will be fun to meet some other :spyder2: lovers. There will always be an opportunity to head up to Hell after lunch for those so inclined. I can do that, too, since I live in the general area anyway.

I think someone has set up another ride on August 21st to meet at the Wells or the dealership and leave from there for Hell. That sounds fine, too, and I'll hope to make that gathering.

Did I get it all right? Do we have two meet 'n greets?

Yes...I proposed the 21st...Saturday...reason I didn't look at the 28th is because the Forbidden Wheels M\C has thier annual party in Hell and gets so crowded you can't park less than 1/4 mile away and can't get served without spending 2 hours in line. I'll be there on the 21st...rain or shine....getting used to riding in the rain anyways ...Larry

I'm planning on going on the 28th, I don't think I'll go to hell that day though. Hell may be a trip for me for a later date. If anybody is going to Cement City on the 28th from the Grand Rapids/Lansing area please let me know.

Ok...I've attempted to get a date set 3 times on this Cement City meet and it doesn't seem to be working. I won't participate in the ride on the 28th because it'll be a nightmare with the Forbidden Wheels having thier annual party in Hell just because of the sheer volume of people that attend...you can't find parking space and if you do, you stand in line forever trying to get served anything. I wanted to meet up with other Spyder riders but it looks like I'll be attending a different poker run on the 28th with a bunch of 2 wheelers. I am however looking forward to future Spyder rides that are put together.

Looks to me like there are two rides planned. The 21st to Hell from Cement City and the 28th for lunch in Cement City and a side trip to Hell for those inclined to go.
