• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

Michelin airless tires UPTIS

It's tweel. has been used for agricultural tires for years, came about when michelin developed pax tires for honda/acura. never came out
for cars, probably never will

Guessing that they will have sidewall if they become available. Won't be able to tell the difference from inflatables. Perhaps you can load some air then to adjust for load.

Regards,

Don

Wouldn't it be nice....

Saw this some time ago and they will get it going no doubt. Will put a dent in the whole tire industry from manufacturing to installing and repairing :dontknow: hope it doesn't get squashed by industry giants....

If the " pictured tire above " had sidewalls it would act 100% different than without sidewalls …… That tire is supported solely by the flexible rubber spokes (?) ….. if it had sidewalls air pressure would come into play …..jmho …. Mike :ohyea:

Would have to have sidewalls here. Without, it would fill in spots with snow, ice, rocks, and mud. Couldn't keep a balance. Hard enough to keep the stuff out of the rims.

Don
