• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

METRO EAST SPYDER RYDERS SUNDAY SEPT 20,2015 RYDE

We are planning a Sunday, September 20th ryde..We are kicking around 2 ideas...1st is a D.A.R.E ride starting from New Baden,il.:ohyea:.It is for a good cause and I believe is a poker run....2nd is a ryde through Grafton,Hardin and to Batchtown..We would eat in either Hardin or Batchtown:bbq:,and take the ferry back to Grafton with a ryde through the scenic route of Pere Marquette State Park..Lets hear from everyone and get your suggestions on your idea or vote on one of these..And see what wins :firstplace:

D.A.R.E. Ride

The D.A.R.E. ride is actually out of Breese, IL Not New Baden. It moved there last year. The only information I have is that it starts at the American Legion and ends there. Registration is 9:00 AM-11:30 AM. Chicken dinner at end. Cost is $20.00 (I assume per person). As Bob said, I believe it is a poker run (not sure).

Good luck Barb and Joy and your fur babies!!!...:firstplace: at the Flyball Tournement
On another note, the ride suggested for Hardin and Batchtown is no longer an option..Between road closure, detour and the closing of Loading Dock due to a fire makes it too long of a ride for what you will get out of it,I feel...Denise and I did a trial run,and there just isn't enough there...I vote for JOHN to organize the poker run ryde!!:yes:

D.A.R.E. Ride September 20TH

Looking for a good turn-out from the group this month for a good cause. Meeting at Belleville McDonald's on South Belt (across street from fairgrounds). Or meet us in Breese at the American Legion. Meet in Belleville at 8:15 for an 8:30 AM departure. Ride to Breese, fuel up and get to the American Legion about 9:30.

Ride is about 140 miles, stopping in Odin, Mt. Vernon, Pinckneyville, Marissa, New Baden and back to Breese. Colored ping pong balls will be given out at each stop. After returning to Breese, the colored balls will be given 'values' and drawings will take place for various prizes based upon each person's points.
