I pulled into the Lowes parking lot.
I noticed an obviously brand spanking new beautiful Spyder RT parked in the lot.
It had Florida plates.
I went in and made my purchase.
When I came out I found the owner of the RT getting on the bike.
I pulled around and made my somewhat standard joke about not buying too much plywood when driving the Spyder to Lowes.
I met Don.
A really nice guy.
He told me all about his Spyder experiences and he also had an RS at home,
Cool.
We also had been to the recent Spyderfest together only separately.
The point of this is this.
Spyders are still rare enough for two guys who don't know each other still think they have something in common.
And I think that's pretty neat.
Like I'm going up to a guy who has a Timex watch, Iphone or wears a baseball cap and say, hey how do you like your watch/Iphone/baseball cap?
No bigee, but cool, I think.
