• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

Messy rain machine

They very well can if you don't have some kind of a flap. Imagine riding your bicycle in the rain without fenders.

Even better than that it looks like a rooster tail from a drag boat :yikes: It comes from the bottom that's why I have my fender so low to stop it from getting on my trailer.

I added a piece of ABS Plastic to the bottom of the hitch shaped to fit around tire with about 1/2" clear of the rubber. This cuts out 90% of the spray on the bike and stops the rooster tail altogether. It also protects the trailer from most of the debris. I drilled out the rivets holding the flap on, then mounted the plated first and reinstalled the factory mud flap.

I have been looking something to add to fill the last bit of void that is soft enough to run against the tire and wear in to fill the last of the void, any good ideas?

Do you have a photo of what you did? I don't think I would have anything rubbing on the tire except maybe some brush like material like you see hanging from the sides of a few trucks.

Yes my mud flap has been installed on many a Spyder RT's with hitches. I have had no one tell me that the mud flap does not work well. The mud flap fills that gaping hole from fender to hitch with a stylish look. I also have them in different styles. With a Spyder emblem with piping, Piping with no emblem, Black with emblem and black only., We sell all over the world. You can check out the website to see pictures and reviews. Thanks! Bob
