• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

Mesh Jackets

Mesh Jacket

I've been wearing the First gear mesh every Summer for years. Really works well. Luckily i haven't tried it out on pavement. On cooler days[spring/fall/mornings/evenings]
I'll put the jacket on then put a wind breaker over it, then when it warms up I'll take the windbreaker off.

That's my approach with my FirstGear jacket and pants. I usually substitute my rainsuit, though, if need be. Less stuff to carry.

Yup and they (Newenough) have great service too. I had to return a coat that didn't fit real well and there was absolutely no hassle whatsoever. I like to just go look as some of the great stuff they have and see what they have on closeout sale as well. Glad you found some things you like.:2thumbs:

Newenough is a great outfit to deal with. They are about 175 miles north of me in Shallowater, Texas so if we are concerned about fit on something, we just take a little trip and buy on site rather than order on line. I wear a Firstgear mesh jacket and my wife wears a Joe Rocket, both bought from Newenough.

Like dltang, I go to their site just to see what they have and always look at the Closeouts. I've found some real bargains.

I wear a full mesh Yoshimura Pilot with full removeable armor here in Florida and I love it. I took out the back pad for a little better ventilation.
I highly recommend it but I can only compare it to my partial mesh jacket which is hotter.

http://www.pilotusa.com/yoshimura_09/cyclone_mesh_jacket.html Older model but looks closest to this with same features.

I am 5'10 at 165 lbs and wear a medium wich fits perfect. I like the adjustable arms and waist too. All around great jacket.

Tour Master Intake 2

It has armor,a rain liner, an insulating liner, it's comfortable from 80 degrees down to 34 degrees, and in the rain. It's a little heavy, but not as bad as my leathers.
