• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

Here is a short video I made from our trip to Valcourt. (First Spyder Homecoming, June 2008) These are some of the first custom paint jobs and the mods were just beginning. You may not even recognize Lamont's spyder right away.

the begining of the RT

I was talking with someone that works for BRP and he told me one reason to bring you folks to Valcourt was so that the engineers could check out what mods everyone was doing. He also told me that this was part of the RT development. So:congrats:everyone.

Yup, they had people who had customized their bikes in a special parking place up front. They also had people out there with questionnaires asking all kinds of things about what they could do different or to improve on the design. BRP Marketing has been getting customer feedback ever since the spyder was first released. That was a great trip. I hope they have another one to Valcourt, I would really like to spend a little more time in Quebec, it was beautiful.

I got to tell you that was a great ride out there. It was raining and some of those guys were still driving a 100mph in the rain. :yikes::lecturef_smilie::ohyea:

That's one trip I would like to do again too. I hope BRP plans on having another Homecoming. :doorag:

Sounds like I am going to have to start saving up my vacation time from work for all of the possible Spyder get togethers! :2thumbs:

My butt hurts just thinking about a ride from California to Valcourt. :yikes:

But (heh, no pun intended) it would be FUN FUN FUN!! :2thumbs:
