To all my fellow Veterans, male & female...past...current ....& future....Thank you for your service...Some never had a choice when the draft was here..Today everybody is a volunteer. I feel a sense of pride whern I see a military member in uniform and think about how proud I am regarding the 27 years I spent in the Army. I'm sure most are proud of thier service....something that stays with you for your entire life. I can only hope that our future society recognizes those who served...and in many cases gave thier life for our freedom....For me I don't desire a "Happy Veterans Day"...There's nothing about it that makes me feel happy.....I give thanks to everybody that served....Thank you for your service...CW4 Larry Shue, U.S. Army (Retired)
