• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

Member Accident Just now

Glad to here she is released pray you heal emotionally and physically quick!!! :pray:I hope the driver of that car learned to pay attention and passes it on to their friends.

I'm so glad you are OK. Good thing you were on a Spyder. I lost a friend a few years ago when a car turned left in front of him, into a driveway - he was only going 35 MPH, but was on a two wheeler.

Laws need to change to make distracted driving as painful to the driver as drunken driving. People need to be afraid to drive with their heads up their butts.

I sure appreciate all the kind thoughts!
Tomorrow I plan to go out to the local shop and look at Spyders.:spyder2:. Not sure if I'm going to be able to have anything to ride in time for Spyderquest, though. Drat.

By the way, I did find some little scuffs on my mesh jacket from when I flew through the air and landed flat on my back. I'm here to say, wear a back protector, folks!!!!! It was just cheap dual density foam, but I think it saved me from a nasty fate.

P.S. and it looks like before that, the phone in my inside jacket pocket gave my ribs some protection when I was plastered against the side of the SUV. I had no idea Gorilla Glass could bend like that without breaking.

So glad to hear you're ok JoAnn. I just had a very similar accident 7/20 on my F3 where an 89yr old woman turned left coming towards me. She crossed right in front of me and hit me on the left side. My foot is very messed up and I am in constant pain at this point but I'm praying it starts to get better. AMAZINGLY beside from alittle road rash on my right forearm and some grinding on the palm of my right leather glove, my helmet was completed untouched! I'm not sure how I exited the bike and landed on the ground, but was surprised my helmet is still good as new.

This was a very scary experience for me. I hope all goes well and you are feeling like yourself again soon.
