• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. Meet Carlo from BRP customer support

I had the opportunity to sit at his table during lunch at the Chicago event. Super nice guy with a very tough job, but is committed to it. Hang in there all who need help, I'm sure he will get back to you.

I was sorry that I didn't get a chance to meet Carlo. Just too busy. It would have been nice to thank him in person.

I have nothing but praise for Carlo. He saw to it, when I had problems, they were resolved and even called after the fact to make sure things were taken care of properly. I wouldn't want his job! I think I'd, "Go postal".

There will always be problems, it's a given, but if Carlo has anything to say about them, they'll get resolved and in a timely manor. I would imagine a lot of issues are out of his hands and all he can do is apologize!

Help

Sorry I did not get a chance to meet Carlo, I think I need his help.......

I have a 2008 Premier Edition #1394 RS that I am having problems with. I have been talking with my dealer and feel that they are no help at this point. I/we were at the event in Chicago and loved it!:2thumbs:

Now for the problem: my RS has always used oil like a quart a ride well this event was no different, it has always run really hot this ride I went through 4 spark plugs in less than 400 miles Fuel? The oil is ending up in the air box, my dealer states that Tech Support wants them to try a different oil Like Honda Line? What about the heat, I have actually had blisters on my right leg from the heat. My disability does not allow me to feel that until it is too late and the blisters are there.:yikes: I need help with this, I am starting to feel like I am the only one and possibly have a lemon, maybe need a new motor? Like I already stated I have been letting my dealer know this, but they claim that they did not document and now I am out of warranty:(. What am I supposed to do now? Please someone help...........

Hey there guys!

Cool photo of you guys, Lamont.

I talked with Carlo a few times on the phone, pre-purchase of my Spyder and he called me back to answer some of my questions AND after I had my Spyder for a while, just to check in.

Carlo, thanks for your time. Have a good one and all the best from Newfoundland!

I think the first thing you need them to look into is replacing the Y Gaskets, as if they are worn out your right leg will definitely catch a whole lot of heat.

As for using that much oil, there has to be something more going on than just the oil in the air box. Do you have another dealer you can take it to?

Look for the BRP Tech Support contact on here for information on how to get in touch with Carlo.

Best of luck with getting all of your issues resolved.

Take the splash guards off and there will not be as much heat, also harvey sells the missing air dam setup. I had second degree burns on my right foot on a 670 mile ride.
