• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

Meet and greet for Feb 2013

Carol and I were thinking about the first meet and greet of the murals in Lake Placid. We want to do a second Fl meet and greet. However we wanted to make it at a different location say maybe somewhere SW or SE Fl. So some of the newer owners have a chance to meet up with other spyder owners, and for us to get to see some other part of FL. We have to meet somewhere like a Golden Corral or some other buffet so its easy for every to get served and a price range around $10 to $15 per person to fit in everyones budget. Last event was on Feb 18,2012. Let's make it in Feb 2013 sometime, do we have any suggestion? John and Carol

I would be happy to join the meetup.If you want to make it good for SE&SW Florida as well as everyone from Central Florida and Northwards having a reasonable ryde Okeechobee on the North end of the lake is a good place to meet.Pogeys Is good food within the price range.Not buffet but the Goldwing groups use it all the time.It has to be booked though.I would imagine there are buffets in the town as well.
Further for you guys up North is Clewiston South side of the lake but again invthe middle of the State 2 places motorcycle groups have used Clewiston Inn and Roland Martins Tiki Bar.Lots of room in the price range take groups but don't think either are buffet.:yes::ohyea:

Count me in. I prefer the west coast over the east, but I'm ready for either one. had a great time today on the burger run and hope to continue the fun..

I am ready.. Of course I think I am always ready to ride... Of course not interested in 4K runs at the moment.

I wonder if we start the ride early in the AM... Then stop for Lunch and continue to ride until 4PM.

Oh.. what the heck Lets ride I don't care.
 
John I am working with Central Florida Powersports to plan their First Annual Charity Poker run on Feb 23rd. Please do not make the meet & greet on that day so I and others can attend both. thanks

First of three updates till the ride:

The second update will be will be on Jan 12, 2013. The last update will be Feb. 2, 2013.
Ivorspyder suggested Rolana Martins Tiki Bar in Clewiston and we like this suggestion, Its in the center of the state.Were thinking Feb. 9th,2013. For those that are coming from long distances, there are two motels that look nice. A Holiday Inn express and Best Western. Please post if you have any other suggests. Please give us your opinion and we will go with the majority. Here is the list so far that are interested.
