• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

Me, My Spyder and a GoPro...

It is the Hero 3 black. It offers amazing quality for such a small & inexpensive camera. Also, I edited this video with their free software: GoPro Studio 2.0 - it works well for simple videos like this.

I've had the camera for over a year, but just started playing with it a few weeks ago. this is my third video in a week - I love this thing.

I started with the Hero 2 and have now gradumacated to the 3 Black. both are great, but 3 is better. :) if you want to see my Hero2 vids look for TheJimmycrakcorn on youtube. I'll add my Hero3 3 vids as soon as I can.

Good Job!

I think you did a great job with that video! I have terabytes of Go Pro video from dirt bikes and snowmobiles but very little from Spyder, so in my humble opinion I can appreciate what you have done. I sure enjoyed it.

Where did you mount the camera for the forward looking shots? Remarkably vibration free.

I used a suction cup mount on the dash. I tried the windscreen, but it was nearly unusable due to the vibration.

Actually, I used only a suction cup mount for the entire video. The spyder has a lot of places to mount it.
