I've had my F3S for one month.
I had no idea what to expect when I decided to get one. It was still in the crate, and I waited a month for it to be built. During this time, I read and watched everything that I could find about Spyders. I've been a motorcycle guy since the late 60's. 2008 had an accident, and that was it for motorcycling, until now.
I'd never been on a 3-wheel ATV, or trike of any kind. For some reason I was fascinated by it, the "Spyder" that is, and from what I read was perfect if you had some mobility issues. Sounded good to me. I hoped I just didn't pay for something that wasn't a good fit for me.
When I first saw it assembled in the Showroom, I couldn't believe this beast was mine. It was raining when I picked it up for the 15 mi ride home. I hadn't been on a bike in 15 years. It rode just like I had read about, but it was totally different than riding a motorcycle. I knew that going in. What I didn't know (but soon found out) was how much fun this machine is. I can only define it as Exciting! It handles so nice. I've only got 800 miles on it, but I feel I have already mastered it. I love going around tight curves in this bike. I like the G forces it puts on you. The ride comfort is superb. The powerplant (1330 cc) and the semiautomatic transmission are very smooth, powerful, and in my experience, pretty darn quick for what it is. I also love the exhaust note. I always seem to change the exhaust systems on every bike I've owned, but this one is staying stock. I like it that much. Long story short, I picked the perfect bike for my needs, and I see a very long relationship starting.
