• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

MC Cruise Control

My mechanic told me that the cruise control was installed but that he had to keep pressing the set button to get it to engage. That didn't seem right so I sent MC Cruise Control an e-mail and, within 15 minutes, I had a call from Australia. They asked for my mech's name and phone number. The next day, they called him and discussed the problem and are working it out. They have been in touch by e-mail throughout this process

Now THAT'S customer service as far as I am concerned! With Australia being 14 hours ahead of us, the MC rep has to call in the evening (on his own time) to talk to my mech.

If they sold other stuff for the Spyder, I'd BUY it. They are a quality outfit

Yeah, whatever...they should've done more....like sent you a gift certificate to Outback Steakhouse...

Tony would buy your steak, ( I think ), only if you paid for the transportation.....:joke:

I have the McCrusie as well and they are one caring people to make things work.. He straighten me out on the exact cableing of the control unit, and the absolute throttle cable adjustment.. Also found that the vacumn switch was leaking and supplied me with a fix, POST HASTE. Wow!! a great Vendor.

Yes, it was Tony Guyver that handled this problem. What a GREAT guy. Just got a call from my mech and all is well with the cruise control. They will be delivering my Spyder this afternoon...WOOOOOOOO HOOOOOOOOOO

It is sunny and 75 degrees...guess what I'm doing this afternoon??

The MC is a great, truly functional cruise...although not in my plans for now, if I were to do a lot of LONG rides, I'd want one...for now, the throttlemeister will have to do...

Who's getting me a steak? Any free shipping? :D

Is it me or does the price keep going up and up and up? I'm pretty sure when I first looked at the unit last summer is was around $550, then this winter it was around $650 and now I see it is $757.

It 's not as much the price going up as it is the value of the dollar going down. They are priced in Australian dollars and, as the conversion rate changes, so does the price
