• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

Maybe useful to someone...

Hello all,

As are all days that end with the letter Y, today is a good day to be alive. I saw this article today while scrolling on FB. I realize that a large number of the Spyder lovers have ridden for years so this may be old news to you, but to those of us who do not have those many years under our belts this could prove to be valuable information. The article reminded me of the motorcycle safety course I took. Happy Friday everyone, the link to the article is below.

Made me evaluate my riding

I'm one of those with years of riding experience, but it never hurts to review. Once you begin taking things for granted is when things can go bad in a big hurry. Normally when a bike and larger vehicle tangle, the bigger vehicle wins. Always be on guard and aware of your environment and practice defensive driving and your trips will end better every time. Thanks for posting. It makes even us old grizzled riders think, which is a good thing...

:agree: It never hurts to be reminded of these things.
But it can hurt like :cus: if you forget them!

Good article and I like the magazine, usually pick it up when it has rides close to home.

Ride and ride safe,
