• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

May I join in?????

For sure....

Always welcome and congratulations on one fine looking machine...:2thumbs: now we will be expecting a full review :joke:

I do believe I will be able to give a good review with pro and con for each model after I have time to gel with the F3T. That will take about as long as it takes to get out of the dealer parking lot. :D

I really like my RT Limited. And, whoever ends up buying it will get a great Spyder. It has pretty much everything on it. It has been serviced twiced and buds shows no error codes since new.
However, getting back to "forward controls" such as the F3T will make my ryding even better.

No doubt: there's a BIG difference in the ergonomics... :D

:congrats: on finding the one that works best for you! :2thumbs:

Your old Ryde looks sweet, love the mods u did. Regarding forward controls, the FBB and widow pegs from Lamonster helped me a lot, love 'em. Still would like the F3 but my 2nd has other views. :banghead: Even though most of the time she does not go with me.

Good luck, I really like your new bike!

Joe

why are all you people trading rt's and going to F3's. i know your not youngsters.
what does the passenger say about the comfort level between the 2. dont take
this the wrong way just want to get some info.--irv toms

Love it

Do you do a lot of two up Ryding now? If not, you are going to love the F3!! If you do a lot of two up, you will have a much more intimate seating situation tha on the RT. On our RT I didn't even know that my wife was on the back, on the one occasion that she rode on the back, it was a bit crowded, and the wind situation for the passenger is a bit extreme. My advice would be to keep the RT and teach your wife to drive it, and you ryde the F3! Everybody will be happy!

You know you are correct! The F3 is not a comfortable two up ryde when compared to the RT! We didn't trade, we added with my wife on the RT and me on the F3.

My wife rarely rides anymore. And, she has no interest in driving one herself. She rarely drives her car. So that being said, I'm moving back toward the forward cruising position as my knees will thank me. I will also enjoy the lower to the ground and lighter Sypder to do the twisties. Even though the RT doesn't stop me from doing the twisties hard either. ;)

:congrats: Glad you found the :spyder2: that works best for you.

We are one of the few that are going to stick with our RT's.
