• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

May have found a pretty good deal on F3S

A dealership near me has a 2018 F3S with 0 miles for $13,900 - I've been going back and forth between the F3S (because I like the manual shift and the upgraded suspension) but also like the touring, because the bags, digital display, and ability to pull a trailer are nice as well.

This F3S has bags already, but I'm wondering if I'd be missing the stuff on the touring.

Any input from anybody on this?

It would depend on what your going to do with the Spyder.
If you're staying closer to home the F3-S should do the trick but if you plan on putting on some miles, the ability to add a trailer if that's the way you want to go or having the tour model with a top case might be a better fit in the long run.

That's the other problem - I absolutely hate the look of the tour pack on the back. Personal preference, but it is what it is.

There was a 2016 F3T for sale for $14k. If I was closer to Florida, I would consider picking it up and selling mine. Pretty much the same bike, but fewer miles.
But the price you have been given for the F3S sounds pretty good.
