Every year we sit outside IAH and wait for wound soldiers to arrive from BAMC. We escort the busses thru Houston down to Victoria with a parade in 2 small towns along the way. With the turnout for these 2 parades, you wouldn't think they are small towns. There will be an Honor Ceremony in Victoria and then another escort to Port O]connor for a fish fry. Saturday morning the warriors are placed on a Charter boat for a day of off-shore fishing. If you have never experienced one of these escorts, and the look of appreciation on the faces of these young men and women, "All I can say my friend, You are missing the best part of life we have in this great country. An oppurtunity to say thankyou without speaking a word for the "Freedom" we so dearly cherish. Hope to see you there..
