• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

Master cylinder heat shield/deflector

Looking in the parts catalogue all '08-09 Spyders had a heat shield bolted onto the front of the master cylinder. This should be an easy retrofit on newer models having overheating problems in the master cylinder area.
It's the RH Deflector #27, p/n 707600580

Don't know..!!

have not seen the ST set up and if they have a heat shield. If they don't this could be the solution. If they do this will do little. Don't know if any re-positioning was done.:dontknow:

ONLY the '08-09 models had this heat shield installed. Certain (but not all) newer models including the ST have a deflector welded onto the exhaust pipe in front of the master cylinder.
