Damn Bob, don't get your panties in a bunch, it was a joke. It was just meant to be cute, not misleading.

Hate to burst your bubble but the ones trying to keep it illegal have an agenda also, and it's not about keeping the American people safe from the evil weed.

I could post a bunch of links that prove me right about the harmless effects of cannabis but you wouldn't believe them anyway.

The Shafer Commission, formally known as the "National Commission on Marihuana and Drug Abuse," was appointed by U.S. President Richard Nixon in the early 1970s. Its chairman was former Pennsylvania Governor Raymond P. Shafer.


The commission issued a report on its findings in 1972 that called for the decriminalization of Marijuana possession in the United States. The report was ignored by the White House.


In a 2006 a US Department of Justice, Bureau of Justice Statistics released a study, , "Drug Use and Dependence, State and Federal Prisoners, 2004," which reported that 12.7 percent of state inmates and 12.4 percent of federal inmates incarcerated for drug violations are serving time for marijuana offenses.
