Ride Forrest Ride!
Jan 3 Thursday, maybe the day for the ride to the Keys ( Marathon ) for Prime Rib or Seafood.
They have the prime rib special on Thursdays only, but also have the seafood menu as well.
Needless to say I had shrimp the last time and I had a very difficult time to eat it all and was it good.. YUP..it was.
So the ride setup, I think, as follows:
We meet somewhere here in central florida and take turnpike to Davie, Fl where we meet up with the Reggie and south posse and then proceed to marathon, fl. We then return to Davie, and stay overnight in Ft Lauderdale at a later post motel thursday night and then Friday AM, breakfast and then return home.
We could have several meet stops which will be determined by consensus of those joining the ride '
My thinking at this point, for those North of I4 we meet in Kissimmee, or another suggested point to catch the turnpike. Or we could meet at US27 and 60 for the ride to Davie
I think the arrival time in davie should not be later than 11:30am where departure would be 12:30 PM.
From Kissimmee, via turnpike to davie is approximately 3-3.5 hours.
from us27/60 to davie is about 3.5 hrs therefore the meet time here would be NLT 7:30am departing 7:45am.
