• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

Maps vacuum hoses

Hi guys,
My bike keeps shutting down at traffic lights and it has been suggested that it could be the vacuum hoses. Does anyone know where these are located and what the part number is for them. I would also appreciate it if anyone can tell me what I should be looking for to indicate that something is wrong with them.

Thanks

VACUUM HOSES

Look on the left side of your Spyder under the air box. The two black hoses are connected to the throttle body. They are easy to remove and replace. I replaced mine with orange silicone hoses from NAPA auto parts, part #H466. They can take a lot more heat than the OEMS hoses.

Don't know..!!

the part numbers but as finless pointed out the silicon hoses are better and avilable at your autoparts store. Cut to length and your all good...
