parking brake
here is something I found its the procedure for adjusting
copied from another post
Several weeks back my parking brake wouldn't disengage completely. The symptom was the idiot light on the dash wouldn't turn off. Gently kicking the pedal inward to unstick it did the trick, short term. Spraying silicone on the spring, behind the pedal, permanently fixed it (lubed it up.)
Next problem was the brake cable became loose where it wouldn't hold; bike would roll. It's easy to tighten up.
(1) Manual instructions state you should lift the rear tire; I did.
(2) Go to the back of the Spyder, right side of the rear tire.
(3) Find where the brake cable connects to the spring.
(4) Loosen the nuts on both sides of the cable.
(5) Move the left-most nut toward the end of the cable (that is, unscrew it, it will move toward the back of the Spyder).
(6) Tighten the right-most nut (tightening will move the nut toward he back of the Sptder.)
(7) Test parking brake.
(8) If it still doesn't hold, repeat steps 3-6.
(9) Drop the Spyder back to the ground.
... geez, took me longer to write this than to actually do it
