• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

Sitting at my desk at work today. In come one of are installers, say he needs me to come take a look at the Spyder. Did not notice the damage to left side saddle bag until I got home. Man I'm sick. 016.jpg014.jpg Well it's all down hill from here. Now have to deal with insurance and dealers to get repair. Such inconveince.:gaah:

Goof ball backing out of parking spot, cut wheel right into her. He did come in tell me. But he was pointing to front wheel and I missed the damage on rear. Have to confront him in the morning. Lucky for me we work at same place. :(Does not help to much.

...
and nobody came looking for the owner of the bike? They had to know that they sideswiped it...:gaah:
Sorry to hear that this had to happen. Do you have ANT idea who might have done the damage? Is the parking lot exclusive for your customers? You could take a look at who came in duiring the day...
Good Luck! Let us know what happens next! My gut tells me that; based upon the two pictures, it looks as if it'll only take a couple of panels for your baby to be back to perfect again!

I presume you got his insurance information? His insurance should cover the entire cost. The good news is the cost for parts to fix the left hand bag is less than $250.

Sad news..!!

good thing he did fess up. Must have been seen most just leave the scene..hope they get you all fixed asap..!! :gaah:

...missed your second post... :opps:
Me and the Ipad just don't play well together... :gaah:
What happened to your front wheel? Is everything still straight up there?? nojoke

Have the spyder checked out for any unseen damage, but if its just the lid to the side capartment its cheap enough just to replace. As it your work colleague maybe they will just pay for the new lid and install cost rather than involve the insurance company as it might be below the deductible anyway.

However make sure there is no underlying damage that you can not visually see first.

I feel your pain! We get our Toyota Prius back from the body shop today after a $750 "anonymous" parking lot ding! Folks are sooo considerate sometimes!

:agree: Chuck; your campfire up at SpyderQuest ought to be EPIC! :2thumbs: :D
I sure hope so! we'll have to have the first toast to holly for getting randy to go on the cruise. the second toast for everyone that helped put spyderquest together and make it a reality. the third---well, you know, the toasts will just keep going on!:roflblack::roflblack::roflblack:
